How To Measure Yourself

  • Remember to allow room for movement so the garment does not fit too snug.
  • Compare measurements of similar garment you already own.
  • Use the guide below to help take your measurements.

A. Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Its also best to measure while wearing the bra that you plan to wear with the garment for a more accurate measurement.

B. Shoulder to Waist: Measurement taken from the shoulder down to the waist seam or smallest part of the waist.

C. Waist: Refer to the shoulder to waist measurement when available to figure out how far down to measure. Then measure around that area of your midsection. If measuring your waist for a skirt simply decide how high or low you would like the waist to sit and measure around that part of your midsection.

D. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hip area.

E. Length from shoulder: Measure from your shoulder straight down to figure how long or short the garment will be on you.

F. Shoulder to shoulder: Measure across the full span of the shoulders from one side to the other.

G. Sleeve length from underarm: Measure from the underarm along the seam to the end of the sleeve.
